- Yu-Gi-Oh!
- One Piece
- Sports trading cards
- Collectible card games

- Other cards or collectibles that we agree to purchase
Whether we purchase a particular card, collection or product is entirely at our discretion. We may decline to purchase cards that we consider unsuitable for our business, including cards that are counterfeit, damaged beyond economic value, incomplete, altered or otherwise unsuitable for resale.
3. Requesting a Valuation
You may contact us through our website, email or any other method we make available to request a valuation.
To provide an estimate, we may ask you for information including:
- the type of cards;
- card names or sets;
- approximate quantities;
- condition;
- photographs;
- whether cards are genuine or authentic;
- language and edition;
- whether cards are graded;
- whether products are sealed;
- any other information reasonably required to assess the collection.
Any valuation, estimate, price indication or quotation provided before we have inspected the cards is indicative only unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. An indicative valuation does not constitute a binding offer to purchase.
4. Offers
Following the information you provide, we may make you an offer to purchase some or all of your cards.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an offer is conditional upon our receipt and inspection of the cards and confirmation that the cards materially correspond with the information provided to us.
An offer will become binding when:
- we have received the cards;
- we have completed any necessary inspection;
- the cards have been confirmed as materially matching the agreed description; and
- both parties have agreed the final purchase price.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw an indicative offer before the transaction becomes binding where the information provided was incomplete, inaccurate or materially different from the cards received.
5. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to us is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
This includes information relating to:
- quantity;
- card identity;
- edition or set;
- language;
- condition;
- grading;
- authenticity;
- sealed status;
- ownership.
If the cards received materially differ from the information supplied when the offer was made, we may revise the offer accordingly. We will communicate any material adjustment to you and give you the opportunity to accept or reject the revised offer, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
6. Card Condition
Card condition can materially affect value. Unless otherwise agreed, our assessment of condition will be based on our own inspection of the cards.
Descriptions such as "Near Mint", "Excellent", "Played", "Damaged" or similar descriptions provided by you are treated as information rather than a final determination of condition.
Where cards are graded by a recognised grading company, the stated grade will be taken into account, but we reserve the right to verify the authenticity and condition of the graded item and its certification.
7. Authenticity and Counterfeit Cards
You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, all cards you sell to us are genuine. We do not knowingly purchase counterfeit, forged, altered or otherwise fraudulent cards.
If we reasonably believe that cards are counterfeit or otherwise fraudulent, we may:
- reject the purchase;
- retain the cards where necessary for investigation or as required by law;
- report suspected fraud or criminal activity to the relevant authorities; and/or
- take any other action permitted by law.
- If counterfeit or fraudulent items are discovered after payment has been made, we reserve all rights available to us under applicable law.
8. Ownership of Cards
By selling cards to us, you confirm that:
- you are the legal owner of the cards;
- you have the right and authority to sell them;
- the cards are not stolen;
- the cards are not subject to any lien, charge, security interest or third-party ownership claim; and
- selling the cards to us does not breach any agreement or legal obligation applicable to you.
If you are selling cards on behalf of another person or organisation, you must have authority to do so. We may request reasonable evidence of ownership or authority where appropriate.
9. Sending Cards to Us
Where we ask you to post or courier cards to us, we will provide the appropriate delivery instructions.
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you are responsible for ensuring that cards are securely packaged and appropriately insured while they are being transported to us.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service with suitable insurance for the value of the cards.
We are not responsible for loss or damage occurring before the cards have been safely delivered to us, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You should retain proof of postage and tracking information until the transaction has been completed.
10. Receipt and Inspection
Once your cards arrive, we may inspect and verify them. Our inspection may include checking:
- quantity;
- card identity;
- authenticity;
- condition;
- edition and language;
- grading;
- completeness;
- sealed status;
- any other characteristic relevant to the agreed valuation.
For large collections, inspection may take longer than for smaller purchases. We will endeavour to process purchases within a reasonable period.
11. Differences Between the Offer and Cards Received
If the cards received materially differ from the information used to calculate the original offer, we may make a revised offer.
Examples include:
- missing cards;
- additional or substituted cards;
- substantially different condition;
- counterfeit cards;
- different editions or versions;
- different languages;
- damaged cards;
- opened or tampered sealed products; or
- significant differences in quantities.
Where a revised offer is necessary, we will explain the reason for the adjustment. You may accept or reject the revised offer.
If you reject the revised offer, we may return the cards to you, subject to any agreed arrangements regarding return postage and any rights we have under these Terms or applicable law.
12. Payment
Once the final purchase price has been agreed, we will make payment using the payment method agreed with you.
Available payment methods may include:
- bank transfer;
- PayPal; or
- another payment method expressly offered by us.
Payment processing times may vary depending on the payment method and banking/payment-provider processing times.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors or incorrect payment details supplied by you. You are responsible for ensuring that payment details supplied to us are correct.
13. Payment to the Correct Person
We may require identification or other information before making payment, particularly for higher-value transactions.
We may delay or refuse payment where we reasonably believe that:
- the seller's identity cannot be verified;
- the seller does not have authority to sell the cards;
- the transaction may involve fraud;
- the cards may be stolen or counterfeit; or
- we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
14. High-Value Transactions
For higher-value collections or individual cards, we may request additional information or verification before completing the purchase.
This may include:
- photographic identification;
- proof of address;
- proof of ownership;
- purchase history;
- additional photographs;
- grading certification information; or
- other reasonable information required for fraud prevention and compliance purposes.
We will only request information that is reasonably necessary for the transaction or our legal obligations.
15. Cancellation Before Completion
If no binding purchase has yet been completed, either party may generally withdraw from the proposed transaction.
Once a purchase has become binding, the parties' rights will depend on the circumstances of the transaction and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that you have as a consumer under applicable UK law.
Where applicable, statutory consumer protection legislation will apply to the transaction.
If you believe that a statutory right has been breached, please contact us using the details provided on our website.
17. Business Sellers
If you are selling cards in the course of a business or on behalf of a company, partnership or other organisation, you must tell us before accepting an offer. Additional terms may apply to business transactions.
Where you are selling as a business, you confirm that you have authority to enter into the transaction on behalf of that business.
18. Taxes and VAT
Each party is responsible for complying with its own tax obligations arising from the transaction.
Where required by law, we may retain transaction records and provide information to HMRC or another competent authority.
If you are VAT registered, operating as a business or selling cards as part of a taxable business activity, you must inform us before completing the transaction.
Any VAT treatment or invoicing requirements will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
19. Fraud Prevention
WeBuyAllCards may undertake reasonable checks to prevent fraud, money laundering, theft and other unlawful activity.
We may refuse or delay a transaction where we have reasonable grounds to suspect unlawful activity.
Where required or permitted by law, we may provide relevant information to law enforcement agencies, regulators or other competent authorities.
20. Personal Data
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information provided to us may include your name, contact information, payment details, transaction information, photographs and information relating to the cards you sell.
We use personal information for purposes including:
- processing valuations and offers;
- completing purchases;
- making payments;
- preventing fraud;
- maintaining transaction records;
- complying with legal obligations; and
- managing our business.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data and the rights available to you.
21. Website Information
Information displayed on our website, including indicative prices, examples, descriptions and buying rates, may change from time to time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, website prices and valuation tools are not binding offers to purchase.
We may correct errors, update pricing and change the cards or products we purchase.
22. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to that restriction, we are not responsible for losses that:
- were not reasonably foreseeable;
- were caused by information supplied by you being inaccurate or incomplete;
- arise from delays caused by third-party delivery or payment providers; or
- arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
23. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include:
- postal or courier disruption;
- banking or payment-system failures;
- power or internet outages;
- cyber incidents;
- natural disasters;
- government action;
- strikes;
- war or civil unrest; or
- other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of significant delays.
24. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a transaction, please contact info@webuyallcards.com.
Please provide:
- your name;
- transaction details;
- the date of the transaction; and
- details of the issue.
We will review complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable period.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version in force when the relevant purchase agreement is entered into, unless otherwise required by law. The latest version will be published on our website.
26. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be treated as removed or modified to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written offer or transaction-specific terms agreed between you and WeBuyAllCards, constitute the agreement relating to the purchase of your cards.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written offer, the specific written offer will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
